Yixing tea set
by: peter

Hi,
Whether it has any value depends on several factors, like rarity, age, and whether the master artisan making it is/was famous.

I cannot help with Yixing tea wares. They are a completely different type of item, and they are more often collected by tea connoisseurs rather than antique collectors.
As age is difficult to recognize with Yixing items, often the seal mark is essential to identify the artisan, to know when it was made. But this requires name lists that are not easily available.
