Inquiry on mark on bottom of Brass or Bronze Bowl

by Shelley
(Puyallup, WA, USA)

Hello,
I have obtained a rather large Brass or Bronze Bowl with very intriquite carvings. I was wondering what the origin & age was based on this photo of the mark on the bottom. I apologize it is slightly unreadable. Unsure as to whether polishing it would somehow de-value it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Hello,
In my view this is a fake antique. The mark itself also uses a reign name that is known to be used on many fakes.
You could try asianart.com to get a second opinion.
