Information about jar

In looking at your website you certainly provide a valuable service and are SUPER knowledgeable about your field. My grandmother left me this jar. I don't know anything about it but hoped you might. It means a lot to me because it was hers. Any information you might provide would be most appreciated! paula

Peter,
Thank you for the advice. I will look further under these search definitions. There's no mark on the bottom or inside the jar. There's something that looks like a small C on the cap, but I even thought that might be an imperfection in the porcelain. At any rate, I do appreciate your help and guidance.

Jar

Thank you for your comments regarding this site. However, unfortunately, we have only limited knowledge and too little when it comes to Japanese porcelain. Your jar is Japanese porcelain. I wonder if it has no mark on the bottom? If yes, that might be useful for identifying the kiln or shop.
You will find many items made in a similar style if you do image searches for"satsuma porcelain" and "kutani porcelain".
I don't know how old this could be; maybe someone more specialized on Japanese porcelain can help.
