Info about vases

by John
(Merseyside, UK)

Prior to consigning to the bin, I would appreciate any information you may have regarding a pair of the most hideous, primitive vases I have unearthed at an uncle's house.

Each would appear to have been made in two parts, the top being stuck onto the bottom. They stand some 13 inches high and have on the bottom what I think is the Nippon mark. The pictures on either side appear to tell a tale of two boys through their lives to old age.

Does any of this mean anything to anybody? Would greatly appreciate any information.

Kind regards and thanks
Jaw
