Identity of Chinese tea set for Western Export

by Nicola
(Sydney, Australia)

Hi from Australia
I was cleaning out my parent's china cupboard (that is mostly filled with English porcelain) & surprisingly, I found this hand painted "Made in China" tea set. I have found the mark to be "Zhong Guo Zhi Zao WESTERN EXPORT", which is supposedly from 2nd half of 20th century. But can you help identifying anything else? My parents were very Australian country people and I am unsure why they would have this set, unless it was a gift?? And sorry to be shallow but would it have any value? Thanks for your help. best regards Nicola

To reiterate what Peter said, this set was probably made in the 1960s.

Chicken tea set, probably from the second half of the 20th century.
