Identification.

Hello there, I am hoping that you will be able to help me. I have some pieces of what I think is an oriental tea set. My Grand father was a Royal Marine before and during World War II. The set was brought home for my Manna, who left it to me, as a child I would sit just looking at it, it is so beautiful. I am now trying to find out a little about it. Where is it from? When was it produced? Should I have it specifically insured? I have had no luck identifying the marking. Any help that anyone can give would be gratefully received. I thank you in advance.
