How to identify the mark on a chinese vase to determine age?

Dear,
One of my friend presented me a chinese vase on my birthday.I would be thankful to u if u could help identify the same.I am sending you the snaps of the vases.

Hello,
With only a mark it is impossible to judge age.
The mark is a factory mark: Xushunchang zao (Made by Xushunchang).
They have been active in the first half of the 20th century, but I do not know starting from when. They did also make Nyonya wares for the Straits Chinese (Singapore, Malaysia).
