Guangxu jar?

by Lucienne
(New Canaan, CT USA)

I got this at an estate sale a few years ago. I was impressed with the incredible detail of the gold painting.

It is 7.5 inches high and has an additional inner lid. I thhink it is probably for tea.

The red mark is inside the lid and the blue mark is on the bottom.

I have been wondering who made it or when it was made but I can't find another identical mark.

Thanks for any guesses! -LB

The mark says Made by Kutani, Eikado. The latter is a shop name, while Kutani is a Japanese kiln.
