Ginger Jar

by Dave
(Spring Hill Fl)

I have spent so much time trying to figure out just what I have. I received 2 jars, but close but not the same. One has marks and the only thing I think I was able to figure out is it is 20 century from one mark, but have had no luck with the others. The other jar has no marks at all. One other puzzle is they both have laquered red wood tops. I must think that this was added to sell them since I have not seen any other wood tops

More Jar Photo's

by Dave
(Spring Hill Fl)

One more try to upload better photo's. I may have to add them one at a time to get clear pictures. This is the jar with the marks on the bottom.

I think I found the bad photo. The last one is just something I have had for lots of years, I have no idea what it is or even where I got it from, just thought someone might have some info.

Thanks again
Dave
