Marks are most commonly square. Given that you can see how much is cut off of this square and its content. It is really difficult to even guess what characters there are.
If you wish to know something about the item's age, the mark is useless anyway. Chinese marks rarely hint to an items production time, especially if they are over 100 years old. We look at its appearance and base, usually. If you upload a picture this would tell more about the item's possible age than the mark.

As the mark is incomplete it is difficult to know what characters it contains.
