I will rephotograph larger format and macro the hallmark, it has some kind of Asian writing & resend


Fine. Please keep in mind, however, that the majority of marks on Chinese items are spurious and show earlier periods of making. Mostly they cannot be used for dating. They are often only decorative.

Really? Well, then it cannot be Chinese. The decoration at the top rim is impossible for traditional Chinese ceramics of 150 years ago.

This peice of ceramic is at least 150 yrs old
as it has been in our family for that time.

Hello,
Although these pictures are much too small, the clearly visible decoration, especially at the upper rim, looks too fantastic. This cannot be anything other than new, perhaps made to look old, but impossible to mistake as an antique item.
