Does anybody know anything about these?

I have 6 of these plates that have been in the family for something like at least 60 years and I am curious as to their origin. I would appreciate any help in this matter.

This is Japanese. The first two characters of the mark mention Kutani, a major kiln of Japan. This should give you enough for futher research, I hope.
