I didn't know if this was chinese or not. Some friends thought maybe Nippon.


That is one of the possibilities I thoughy of when I wrote "for the western market".

I'm afraid I can only help with Chinese antiques. Age characteristics will differ.
This seems to be European or western, or made for the western market.
