Chinese vase

Hi guys,
plese could someone help giving me a appraisal about my vase? I have been told it is a old chinese vase. I paid it a good amount of euros. I would appreciate even a simple opinion. Thanks!

Hello,
The shape and decoration is not right for an antique Chinese vase. It is either newer Chinese or Japanese. This type of decoration and the shape is more likely found on Japanese wares.
A few closup pictures of the decoration and the bottom might confirm this. If there is a mark on the bottom, this may be essential for identification.
