Chinese Tea cups and plates

I would like to identify the mark under the cups and saucers and find out how old this set is. I have had it for about 40 years. There are six cups and six saucers.

mark and manufacture
by: peter

Hello,
From these small pictures it seems as if the decoration is western, it definitely doesn't look Chinese.
Anyway, one of the characters makes it impossible that it was made before the 1ate 1950s, and the mark looks pretty modern. If you had this for 40 years then it must have been new or almost new when you bought it. I would say 60s or 70s.
