Chinese Pedestal Fruit Bowl

by Ron Webber
(Halifax Nova Scotia Canada)

I am interested in ID'ing this piece of Chinese porcelain in regards to age - type & quality of decoration.

The bowl's rim diameter is 12.25" ... stands 4.75" tall.
One of the two bottom markings looks like "54" ... the other translated is "Made in China"

Hello Ron,
With these pictures I cannot see any details to comment. But as you state that the marks says Made in China and the subject obviously is Japanese, the logic conclusion is that it is a modern Chinese copy of Japanese porcelain.
