Chinese marks on silver tea set

by laura

This forum is specialized on ceramics. I would suggest trying asianart.com.

My great aunt brought back this tea set from China sometime in the 1920's to 40's. I would like to know what they engraving says and if anyone knows what the marked out engraving (cartouche shaped) is about. All three pieces have the same marks. There are no maker marks, so this could be an artist signature, or the owners mark, a presentation script, a date. I just don't know. Any help would be much appreciated!

The Chinese marks show that the tea set was a gift from a couple to a doctor in Feb 6, 1926.

Need more photos to see the name of the doctor.
