Hello. I was hoping that someone out there would be able to help me identify an old pair of tea caddies that I have. I believe that they are Chinese but since I don't read Chinese, I am looking for someone to interpret the makers mark for me. Also, what are your thoughts as to how old these pieces are?

If you don't know, do you have a good direction to point me in to try and get help on this? Thanks so much! Holly

China had virtually no maker's marks in the sense European porcelain has. Please see http://www.chinese-antique-porcelain.com/antique-china-marks.html

Your items show a spurious Yongzheng reign mark, but they were recently made, I'm afraid. There is nothing to indicate that they are very old or antique.
