chinese jar?

Hi
Is this chinese jar, do you think its old? Its got cracks all over as in the bottom, but due to the flesh they are not visible.

Hi Mary,
It looks more like chinoiserie to me. Chinoiserie is European porcelain with a Chinese-looking motif.

It could have some age, but if it is European I do not know how old. Anyway, this item is transfer printed, not hand painted.
