Chinese flute player

Hi
Can anyone help date this figure. I think it is probably canton maybe circa 1900, any help would be appreciated. I have tried to find the mark but no success.

Hello John,
The mark says it's made by Ye Yun-deng. On the Chinese web I have found only one comment on this porcelain painter:

"Porcelain painter of the republican period. Many of his works are figurines; high quality and artistry level."

I also think this is from the republican period because of the hairdo of the lady. From the pictures it looks like a hairstyle of the republican period.
This is no doubt one of the best porcelain figurines of that period I have seen until now.
