Chinese dish with marks?

by Kristoffer
(Stockholm, Sweden)

Hello!
I have this dish that looks quite old to me. It measures 47 cm across and has some marks in the bottom.
Info about age, period etc. will be much appreciated!

Thank you!

Best regards,
Kristoffer, Sweden

Hi Kristoffer,
I will first mention the mark.
It says Daming Zhengde Nianzhi (Made in the Zhengde reign of the Ming dynasty).
In my view the footrim and glaze color are not right for Ming dynasty.
I also have the impression that part of the decoration, the band along the rim, etc. is not right. That is, decorations of various periods are put together on the same item. Thus, I doubt its age is very high. But I recommend you get a second opinion.

Peter
