hi peter, thanks again for all the information on the last item I posted would be really grateful if you could tell me anything about the others I have of a similar pattern, it would be nice to be able to tell friends and family abit about them rather than the usual 'I don't know!'

blue and white prune jars

Hello Shellie,
These two are younger than the other one, I'm afraid.
Both are very recent and probably not hand-painted at all. Very easy to detect.
The mark is a Jingdezhen mark existing only later in the 20th century, and it seems to be in a printing font.
