In answer to your question the box is made from wood & covered in a dark red laquer,

Hi All,
I came across this plate several years ago at a carboot & have always wondered where it was from.
The plate is in a fitted box & the only writing is on the box, there are NO marks on the actual plate, the width of the plate is 11 inches.
Any Information would be much appreciated,
