Bowl with unknown mark

by Olivia
(San Francisco)

Hi, can someone help me identify the origin/age of this bowl? I do not recognize the maker's mark. Thank you!

Here are pictures:

bowl and mark
by: peter

Hello,
Very nice bowl.

The mark is "Jingweitang-zhi" (Made by Jingwei Hall), originally from the Qianlong period, but it is probably apocryphal.
The footrim shape doesn't seem right for the 18th century, and the blue color of the mark does not correspond to the color of the Qianlong period (see http://www.chinese-antique-porcelain.com/blue-pigments.html).

Also, the red bats were most popular in the 19th and 20th centuries.
I suggest you get a second opinion on this.
