The marking on the bottom is not a mark proper, and it is not a readable character.
If it seems to be made of many minute drilled holes, please read the 'Marks' page for an explanation. Sometimes these were characters, but sometimes just illegible symbols.

This is a 19th century plate. Still very common. Usually they don't have any marks at all.
