Asian vase, unusual mark(s)

by Tad
(Atlanta, GA)

I posted this previously, but it did not circulate in the blog.

My dad picked this up in Asia circa 1960. Approximately 26cm high. Has imperfections in the glazing; molding is not symmetrical.

I've searched, but can't find anything about the markings. Thanks, in advance, for your help.

It is recommended that you upload more pictures of the item.
Generally said, the mark placement off-center usually means an item is not a Chinese antique item. It could be a later product, though.
The first character is not clear, the second reads "He". The characters are written in a matter that is unusual today, and would have been even more so in the past.
