Antique Chinese Bronze Pot

by Tom
(NJ, USA)

Can anyone help me identify Chinese bronze pot. It has a life-size Salamander chasing a Moth. The detail is extraordinary. You can see each scale on the Salamander, etc. It appears as if the Salamander, Moth and pot were all cast at once. The markings on the bottom are a bit unclear, but perhaps someone can recognize the stamp/sign or point me in the right direction. Thank you

Hello,
Cannot help with bronze items, but this one has a shape that makes it look Japanese.
Salamander? This would be a gecko. They are quite common in Japan.
