Hello Peter,
i have the 23" high Chinese vase for over 25 years
no mark(s) on the bottom.
could you please tel me the maker, the maker period and approximately how old it is?

Hi Sal,
The maker is almost never identifiable. This is only possible with mass produced items, if someone has seen or owns a similar item.

To see when this was made, approximately, closeups of foot (foot rim) and decoration, especially the face would be needed.
Posting it on Photobucket would be better, because it allows for larger pictures. Just from what is visible here, it looks like 20th century, possibly later half.
