19th Century Chinese Vase?

by Lee
(Canada)

Just wondering and trying to confirm the identity of this type of vase. Father purchased in China in the mid 1980's who told him it was antique.

Any idea of value. Have a matching pair of these, both in excellent condition, no damage or chips.

On the bottom, written in Chinese are the numbers in blue paint 10 + 9 (19)

Hello,
If you look throught he most recent posts you will find some other vases like yours, not identical but made in a similar style.
This must have been new when your father bought it.

Japanese subject, as it seems from these small pictures, the style has some resemblance to Japanese techniques, but was possibly made in China or SE Asia, perhaps for export.
Nothing antique, I'm afraid.
