According to the chinese writing, it was made in the year of 乙卯(1915)秋(fall) by"洪義順", an artist named "Sung Yee Suen"

Hi Sal,
Yes, this is early republic. The orange color would have been more frequent a bit later, but 1915 is possible. After all, it is dated porcelain.
The correct Pinyin transcription for the name is Hong Yi Shun.
Very nice vase, by the way. In my view the value of such vases will rise in the coming years.
